Bo Rangers fan club present cash donation to club's Executive.

Bo Rangers Football Fan club  has on July 18, 2020, presented  Eighty-four million eight hundred and Ninety thousand Leones ( Le84,890,000) to its Club Executive at the BO Rangers Club house in BO City. The financial donation is to support the Rangers' Executive to complete the first ever multipurpose club house to be built in Sierra Leone.

Speaking on behalf of the  BO Rangers Supporters' club, the chairman Tejan Koroma, said they as supporters group thought it wise to render a helping hand to the  Club house project. He said had it been the wisdom of the Chairman of BO Rangers, Mr. Babadi Kamara they wouldn't have gathered at the historic edifice of BO Rangers.

"I promised Babadi Kamara that we the fans will provide our online, Physical, moral,  financial and any other kind of support to see him succeed by winning the Sierra Leone Premier League" 

The Chairman of BO Rangers Fan club emphasized that regardless of what had happened they are the winner of the inconclusive Premier League. He said Chairman Babadi made a promise to them to transform BO Rangers which he has started by building a Club house which is the first of its kind in football in Sierra Leone.
"We're not only  the best on the pitch, but also off the pitch. If not for Babadi Kamara it would have been difficult for us as a fan club to have even put a block in ground" Tejan Koroma stated.
 
Tejan Koroma revealed that the idea to raise funds to support the Executive of Bo Rangers came from the Bo Rangers football club's WhatsApp group where they decided that it is important to give a helping hand to the club executive so that they can have a say — it would've been shameful for us to be a part of the opening ceremony of the  first ever football club facility in Sierra Leone without any support from the fans. 

He showed gratitude to all BO Rangers Fans who contributed their hard earned labour to the process.  

Chairman Tejan Koroma  thanked the Executive for such a magnificent initiative which will be recorded in the annals of football in Sierra Leone.

Receiving the Eighty-four million eight hundred and Ninety thousand Leones (Le84,890,000) from the  Bo Rangers fan club — the eminent Chairman of BO Rangers Executive  Babadi Kamara said they're gathered as a family at the Club house site to receive an initial contribution of the BO Rangers fan club towards the construction of the club house and office spaces. He clarified the rumors going around that the structure is only a club house is  baseless and that the building when completed will have office spaces for the Bo Rangers fan club and  eighteen rooms for players and technical team. 


Mr. Babadi, praise  the fans of Bo Rangers on behalf of the Executive and Board of Directors for having the tenacity to provide such a significant support. *He disclosed to the fans of Bo Rangers and journalists  that people have been  contributing to the construction of the building. He mentioned names like, NASSIT boss Fuad Dabor, Alhaji Kanja Sesay, Minister of Energy, Dr. Dennis Sandi, Lands Minister, Jacob Jusu Saffa Minister of Finance and other prominent people from BO City*. 

Chairman Babadi enlightened the audience that football development is   ON and OFF  the pitch.

" You don't limit football activities to the pitch alone your  balance sheet and structures are all relevant in the growth of football"
 Reflecting on when they took over Bo Rangers in November 2018, the philanthropist  Babadi Kamara said the past Executive did their best but the club wasn't in a strong financial footing - the rebranding of the club has made Bo Rangers enviable.

He revealed that in the past, Bo Rangers' gate takings was not approaching five million Leones, but through the effort of everyone they can now boast of raising the highest gate takings in Sierra Leone for District  teams in the range of Ninety million Leones (Le90,000,000) in a single match. He said funds collected through gate takings, sales of jersey and fans support are going to the Bo Rangers Club's account.

"Anybody who's thinking that Bo Rangers is about Babadi Kamara is completely mixing things up - Bo Rangers is about the people of Bo and Sierra Leone at large" The chairman emphasised. 

The Executive of Bo Rangers football club  in December 2019,  kick-start the construction of the first ever football club house in Sierra Leone with eighteen rooms for players and technical team, gym, hall and a Secretariat for the smooth running of the club.

Sierra Leone head Coach names 25 foreign-based players.

Lack of home football league in Sierra Leone, has not stopped the head coach of Leone Stars John Keister, from including 10 home-based talents in his 35 man provisional squad, ahead of the African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) fixtures with Ethiopia, Ghana and Kenya. Leone Stars head Coach John Kiester names 23 Man Squad for the AFCON qualifier against the 'Walyas' of Ethiopia

After naming a preliminary Squad of 35 Players the Head Coach of Leone Stars John Keister has cut the squad down to Twenty three (23) players ahead of the crucial Match against the ‘Walyas’. Despite no effective league playing in the country, there were places in the squad for young FC Johansen Goalkeeper Mohamed N Kamara, and defender Abu Suma former player for FC Johansen.
