Real Mack Secures first win in Division-one competition

By Muctar Koroma.

Real Mack football club has secured its first win in the ongoing western area football association-FNB competition against Wilberforce Strikers at the parade field.

The goal was scored in 55 minutes of play by Ibrahim Goba. Bobson Kuyateh set a smooth Passed over Wilberforce's wall and Goba, having got away from a couple of players, volleys past the Wilberforce Striker keeper's near post.

Goba will wonder exactly how that one squirmed through the goalkeeper grasp.

Ultimately Abu Sankoh's (short Abu) charges were just winners, and the former Mighty Blackpool coach could not be happier with their display as Real Mack celebrated their first division-one win over Wilberforce Strikers.

“The desire, attitude, commitment, connection between fans and players pleased me most. At times, we pressed them, pushed them back, we tried to be aggressive,” said Coach Abu Sankoh.

“We made them make mistakes, and we are happy with the result.”

This is Real Mack's second match in the ongoing WAFA-FNB division-one competition.

In their first match of the WAFA-FNB division-one competition, Real Mack was held to a drew against Goderich United in the opening match.

This is the veteran and experienced coach Abu Sankoh (short Abu) first win as coach of Real Mack in a competitive match.

The pharmacy boys' will entertain  SLIFA FC on 24 March 2020 at the Parade field.
