Kei Kamara Inducted into CCAA Hall of Fame

Former Leone Stars striker Kei Ansu Kamara has been officially admitted in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Hall of Fame. As a professional of over 15 years in the Major League Soccer, Kamara has played for 10 different teams both in America and England. 

Kei Kamara is among major league soccer top five highest goal scorer with 131 goals to his name. 

Expressing his gratitude in a video Kamara, thanked players,  coaching staff he has worked with over the years   his family and people who have motivated him over the years to stay focused.

"This award is not for me but those who have motivated me, my kids I hope they will look into this achievement and  motivate them”

Kei Kamara is the first Sierra Leonean sport athlete to be inducted in any hall of fame.

 In front of friends, family, former teammates and coaches, and fellow Toros, Cal State Domingeuz Hills men's soccer alumnus Kei Kamara received formal induction into the CCAA Hall of Fame class of 2020 Saturday night.

It could be recalled that Kei Kamara announced his retirement from representing his country in 2019, ahead of  Sierra Leone AFCON match against  Lesotho in Freetown.
