Thunder FC. gains Division-Two status

The Port-Loko District Football Association has admitted Thunder Football Club to division-two level.
Thunder FC has been fighting for a place in division football since 2018.
Pouring out his excitement in an interviewed, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Thunder FC. Mohamed Didi Abu said he felt good knowing that his club has been officially allowed to be a part of the North-West Region football family. He said Thunder FC Salone is an affiliate branch of Thunder Football Association in Maryland, United state of America.
The Chief Executive Officer of Thunder F.C, disclosed that they have started operations since 2017; despite the huge challenges they were able to sail through.
Mr. Didi Abu said they have produced several players who are making name for themselves in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League adding that Masalake playing for F.C, Kallon is one of their players.
Didi Abu revealed that with what they have accomplished as a club he’s well convinced that they are going to succeed as a club.
“Port-Loko is going to be our new training and play ground going forward until we qualify for whatever position in the future” said Didi Abu
Thunder F.C, before gaining recognition by the Port-Loko Football Association has been playing communities football competition, and also operate a football academy for under-10, 12, 14 and senior team.
