"Kamboi Eagles will miss my presence"; Coach Alhaji Foray

The head coach of Kenema's Kamboi Eagles football club, Alhaji Foray (Abedi) has disclosed to SL-Premier 90 on Radio Mercury that Kamboi Eagles will miss his presence during the match against East End Lions in Kenema. He will miss the tight  encounter due to international assignment.

 The Kamboi Eagles coach also served as the head coach of Sierra Leone’s under-20 female team.  Coach Abedi would not be available for Kamboi Eagles crunch fixture against East End Lions as he engages Senegal in the return leg of the FIFA under-20 world cup qualifying game in Senegal. The first leg, Sierra Leone lost by one goal zero in Bo. 

Coach Abedi revealed that despite his absence from the match against EE Lions, his technical team will step in and do a good job, "my team is prepared to face Lions more than any other match, we respect East End Lions as the defending Champions of the league". He said they are  aware that  Lions  have a good team.  

The Kamboi Eagles coach boasted that they are going to use all their energy to secure win against Lions in Kenema.

“We are playing at home we have our fans as the twelve men of the game that match will be very difficult for East End Lions”

In their  last two meeting East End Lions have  won one  at their backyard and drew in Kenema. 

Kamboi Eagles are the league leaders with sixteen points after six matches played. The Eagles are the only team in the Salone Premier League not to concede a goal and have scored six goals.

A win for  league leaders Kamboi Eagles will see them extend their lead to six points while a win for defending Champions East End Lions will equal Kamboi Eagles sixteen points (16) at the top of the Salone Premier League.
