FC. Johansen: We’re excited to be back in the premier league.

The head coach of FC. Johansen Abdulia Kaloga Bah has disclosed that the club's management is thrilled to be back in the Sierra Leone premier league.
It could be recalled that the management of FC. Johansen refused to participate in 2018/2019 Sierra Leone Premier league citing irregularity in the setting up of the past Premier League Board.
Coach Kaloga said he’s impressed with the performance of his team despite results haven’t been forth coming. "My lads are young, we are in a rebuilding stage now so everything wouldn’t be perfect, but we need to keep on working." Said Kaloga.
Responding to question about FC. Johansen's recruitment process coach Bah said they have done some good business during the transfer market both local and international. He said they bought two players from Ghana and some experienced players from other clubs across the country that is adding value to there squad.
FC. Johansen, in the ongoing premier league has played three matches drew two and lost one, presently in tenth position on the League table.
Despite their poor run of results Coach Bah revealed that as technical team, they are satisfied with what they have seen so far in terms of the output of players. The league is a marathon one with no clear winner yet.
“Our target for the ongoing premier league is to compete earnestly if we’re unable to win the league trophy we want to be among the clubs that will be representing Sierra Leone in confederation of Africa Football (CAF) competition.”
FC. Johansen is owned by the president of the Sierra Leone Football Association Isha Johansen. They gained promotion to the premier league in 2011 after winning the country division one competition unbeaten. FC. Johansen has also participated in the CAF confederation competition after winning the FA cup competition in the country, which is the second highest rated competition.
