Kamboi Eagles we're determine to win the premier league

 The head coach of Kenema Kamboi Eagles FC, Alhaji Foray has said they are determined as a team to win the 2019/20 Sierra Leone premier league.  

Kamboi Eagle’s has kicked start the new premier league seasons in a good spirit winning two out of two. 

 Speaking ahead of their match with Anti-Drugs Strikers, coach Foray says he is very impressed with the performance of his lads after two matches played so far.  He said good preparation is responsible for their winning start to the season.  


The flying coach believed that the five Ps in football is helping him deliver the result the club management and supporters are eager for. 

Coach Foray disclosed that they are going to approach all matches in the premier league with a winning mentality.

 He said the match against Freetown, base club Anti-Drugs Strikers FC, wouldn’t be underrated because last season they were only able to squeeze four-point from them.

 “We are going full-force to take all three points, so that, we can claim nine points out of three games on Sunday 22 December 2019, in Kenema City”. 

Anti–Drugs Strikers, have played two games without conceding a goal and currently in the seventh position in the league standings. 

 
The premier league leaders Kamboi Eagles have played two-game win all and scored three goals.

The Eagles are the only team to have scored three goals out of thirteen matches played across the Country's.

Coach Alhaji Foray revealed that one of their biggest challenged face in the past league has need resolved.

“Our team is  technical not that physical so my lads were finding it difficult to play our passing football due to the poor state of the Kenema Pitch” 

The head coach of Kenema Kamboi eagles emphasized that their target as a team is to win all their home matches. According to coach Foray  achieving that he believed they can win the 2019/20 premier league.

Kamboi Eagles, has never won the Sierra Leone premier league, their highest position achieved is second.

Sierra Leone head Coach names 25 foreign-based players.

Lack of home football league in Sierra Leone, has not stopped the head coach of Leone Stars John Keister, from including 10 home-based talents in his 35 man provisional squad, ahead of the African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) fixtures with Ethiopia, Ghana and Kenya. Sierra Leone won her first AFCON match against Kenya in Freetown, which was a big boost to kick-start the tight fixtures in September and October. Leone Stars head Coach John Kiester names 23 Man Squad for the AFCON qualifier against the 'Walyas' of Ethiopia

After naming a preliminary Squad of 35 Players the Head Coach of Leone Stars John Keister has cut the squad down to Twenty three (23) players ahead of the crucial Match against the ‘Walyas’. Despite no effective league playing in the country, there were places in the squad for young FC Johansen Goalkeeper Mohamed N Kamara, and defender Abu Suma former player for FC Johansen. UK trio based Alhaji Sesay who plays for Bristol City in England, Osman Kakay of Queens Park Rangers and Amadou Bakayoko of Coventry City were also named in the squad alongside long time absentee Sheka Fofanah who plays his international football for Al Nasr in the Oman professional elite league.
