Preview: Kamboi Eagles VS Mighty Blackpool

By Muctar Koroma.

The Tis Tas boys are without a win in their past four games in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League and were humbled by rivals F. C Kallon.

The 1-0 defeat followed a goalless draw against F. C Johansen and a 3-2  Premier League loss to Diamond Stars, leaving Blackpool eight points off the top three.

But their opponents on Sunday are fighting for the Premier League title at the minute and sit top of the table after four games. Kamboi Eagles goalless draw in the match against BO Rangers brought an end to their winning streak which included three wins one draw and no defeats.

Blackpool: Chernor has revealed no injury worries for his side approaching the Eagles Match.

“as I told you the last time we're on a rebuilding process we want to take the team to our old days of playing football the Tis Tas way, we have gotten there. Now it's time to win matches which my boys are well focused to get the work done,” he said.

Mighty Blackpool hasn't won any match in the ongoing Premier League after four matches played. If Tis Tas boys fail to win in Kenema it will be their worst start to a Premier League season.

Mighty Blackpool, has played four matches drew two and lost two and presently sits bottom of the league standings.

Kamboi Eagles would approach the match with a winning mentality knowing that their joints league leaders BO Rangers dropped points. A win for the Eagles will see them secure 13 points out of five matches played.

Coach Alhaji Abadi Foray disclosed that their focus is to win and expand their lead in the league standing.

“We're well aware of the strength and quality Blackpool team possess, but my  lads know our mindset for this season”

In their last two meetings, Kamboi Eagles were the better side collecting four points.
